Baggins Clan A

Our math class wiki page was set up with questions and equations which we were required to answer with a partner. We had to use the different things we had already learned in class to get the right answers. We could not just guess or use a calculator because we had to make notes on the wiki when we changed it and how we got to the answer we choose. Mrs B was around the room helping us when we needed it.
Two of the equations were about changing miles per hour to kilometers per hour. This is cool Knowing how to calculate this will be use full in Canada if I ever go. There were questions about graphs and what the information on them meant. I recognized some of the information on one of the graphs, it came from the Census site. We used some of the data from this sit in class before. We also got to look at more of it by answering one of the questions.
Some of the sites that we got to explore after answering the questions were really neat. They were math sites and on some of them you could play games.
Working with a partner was fun and hard, we had to take turns editing the wiki and calculating the answers, I don't like to do math so calculating was hard for me.
The best part of the activity was winning. My partner is really good in math so we won the race!
I liked the activity a lot and want to do it again for other lessons.
What I liked best about this activity was the graphs, I like to see the data all together and reading graphs by other people is fun to. I also got a chance to practice other math skills and it did not seem like work this way.

Congratulations on winning the wiki race. I noticed that you were very fast at answering the questions. I am glad that you remembered all of the functions we did in class.
